V WORLD DAY OF THE POOR

14th November 2021

For the poor you have always with you(Mk.14:7)

“For the poor you have always with you” (Mk. 14:7). With the words from the Gospel of Mark, Pope Francis proposes his reflection for the V World Day of the Poor, which will be celebrated throughout the Church, on Sunday 14 November. A message that invites us never to lose sight of every opportunity to do good and to grow in our awareness of the needs of the poor, which are always changing, as are their living conditions.

Let us follow the various initiatives and we too can truly be able to recognize them, to make them part of our lives and an instrument of our salvation.

Message of the Holy Father
