
Gratitude for a Journey of Grace – Golden and Diamond Jubilee
The Diamond and Golden Jubilarian Sisters from Indian Provinces gathered in Maria Nivas, Gollapudi from January 13th to 17th 2026 for a renewal course and celebration. A two-day program was led by Fr. Amalanathan S.J. who renewed their zeal. As part of the Jubilee Year, they embarked on a pilgrimage to Our Lady’s Shrines at Nirmalagiri and Gunadala. Visits to the Communities in Vijayawada, Eluru, and Nidadavolu brought in them moments of reunion and joy.
On January 16, 2026 at 17.00 a historic Inter-Province Golden and Diamond Jubilee celebration began with the theme ‘Gratitude for a Journey of Grace’. The Jubilarians were warmly welcomed, honoured with a memento and the papal blessing was handed over to each Jubilarian. The message with loving wishes and gratitude from Mother Francesca, the Superior General and her video call greeting to each Jubilarian Sister added joy to the celebration and felt the family spirit.
The summit of the festivity was the Holy Eucharist celebrated on 17th morning and was presided over by Rt. Rev. Bishop Raja Rao of Vijayawada who In his homily praised the Jubilarians for their committed service, emphasized on the call of holiness by highlighting the rise of young saints, like Carlo Acutis and Sr. Clare Crockett.
The celebration concluded with the cutting of a cake by the Jubilarians and sharing a festive meal.
