
Consecrated and Sent as Messengers of Peace
The Perpetual Profession of Sr. Nandini Ranasingh and Sr. Theresa Stephen Joseph, of the Province of Blessed Enrichetta, Central India, was solemnly celebrated on 11th April 2026 at St. Mary’s Minor Basilica, Secunderabad, with the theme, “Consecrated and Sent as Messengers of Peace.” The Eucharistic celebration was presided over by Cardinal Poola Anthony, Archbishop of Hyderabad.
During the celebration, Sr. Nandini Ranasingh and Sr. Theresa Stephen Joseph professed their Final Vows, which were received by Sr. Emmy Gracy Vas, the Provincial Superior. The sacred liturgy was further enriched by the presence of concelebrating Priests, parents, relatives, and Sisters of the Province, along with a few Religious from other Congregations.
In a spirit of thanksgiving, the Sisters offered their lives in total consecration to God, committing themselves to be instruments of peace and love in the Church and society. The celebration proved not only a profound testimony of faith, but also a revelation of the beauty of the vocation to religious life and its mission in the Church, and all those present felt inspired to be messengers of peace..

The Perpetual Profession of Sr. Anindita Kujur, Sr. Milly Nayak, and Sr. Mounika Pothula, of the Province of Immaculate Conception, Eastern India, was solemnly celebrated on 21st April 2026 at Maria Nivas, St. Ann’s Animation Centre, Gollapudi, with the theme, “Consecrated and Sent as Messengers of Peace.” The Eucharistic celebration was presided over by Most. Rev. Thelagathoti Joseph Raja Rao, Bishop of Vijayawada.
The celebration began with a procession while the Sisters walked towards the altar holding saplings in their hands as symbols of peace, accompanied by their parents. It was a moving gesture of love, support, and offering as a reminder of the families who nurtured their vocations and joyfully entrusted them to God’s service.
At the heart of the celebration was the sacred moment when the Sisters, with deep faith and surrender, pronounced their vows. A particularly touching moment was when the Sisters, filled with devotion, sang a hymn offering themselves entirely to God, humbly asking for His grace to remain faithful as true messengers of peace.
During a short felicitation programme, the Finally Professed Sisters were warmly congratulated and honoured along with their parents as a sign of recognition, gratitude and appreciation. The atmosphere was filled with joy and celebration, further enhanced by a cake-cutting ceremony.

On the feast day of St. Mark the Evangelist, 25th April 2026, our dear Sr. Argen Tirkey pronounced her Perpetual Vows in the hands of Sr. Ashly Jose, Provincial Superior, Province of St. Ann Northern India. Most Rev. Bishop Bhaskar Jesuraj officiated the Holy Eucharist along with seven concelebrants. Sr. Argen’s father and her siblings were present for this ceremony. Some Religious Sisters. LASA and our Sisters from the neighboring Communities participated in this celebration.
Sr. Argen expressed her gratitude to her parents, the Superior General, the Provincials, the Formators and all who contributed to enable her to pronounce her YES to the Lord forever.
