You did not choose Me, but I chose you

The Sisters of St. Ann Cameroon Delegation joyfully witnessed a significant milestone in the life of the Congregation as six Sisters – Sr. Emmanuella Eshi, Sr. Mary-Ann Nyangha, Sr. Stephanie Koh, Sr. Josepha Mukong, Sr. Lisette Tanlaka, and Sr. Lena Song made their Final Profession on Saturday, July 25, 2026, the Feast of St. James the Apostle, at All Saints Parish, Bamenda.

The Eucharistic celebration was presided over by His Grace, Archbishop Andrew Nkea, Archbishop of the Bamenda Archdiocese, and was concelebrated by a visiting bishop and numerous priests. In his homily, Archbishop Andrew Nkea encouraged the Finally Professed Sisters to remain faithful to their vocation, to deepen their relationship with Christ, and to become joyful witnesses of the Gospel through lives of love, humility, and generous service.

During the solemn rite, the Sisters publicly professed the vows of poverty, chastity, and obedience, committing themselves forever to the service of God and His people according to the charism of the Sisters of St. Ann. Their vows were graciously received by Sr. Carine Bagatsin, Delegate of the Superior General, marking their definitive incorporation into the Congregation.

The celebration was marked by vibrant liturgical singing, heartfelt prayers, and an atmosphere of profound gratitude and joy. It concluded with words of thanksgiving and warm congratulations to the Finally Professed Sisters, followed by a family celebration where all present shared in the joy of the occasion.

The joyous occasion brought together the Sisters of St. Ann from across the Delegation, members of the Lay Associates of St. Ann (LASA), parishioners, representatives of various religious Congregations, family members, friends, and well-wishers who gathered to thank God for the gift of these vocations.

As a deer longs for flowing  streams, so my soul longs for you O God

On Sunday, 27 July 2026, the Sisters of St. Ann Cameroon Delegation joyfully celebrated the First Profession of two novices – Chalette Kedmi and Praxedis Liwoh, at the Novitiate House, Bayelle-Bamenda.

The Eucharistic celebration was presided over by Fr. Innocent, Regional Superior of the Mill Hill Fathers, in the presence of the Sisters of St. Ann, neighboring religious communities, a few members of the Lay Associates of St. Ann (LASA), and the families of the Newly Professed Sisters. The liturgy was beautifully animated by the Novices and some Sisters.

During the celebration, the Sisters professed their first vows, which were received by Sr. Carine Bagatsin, Delegate of the Superior General.

In his homily, Fr. Innocent encouraged the Newly Professed Sisters to remain faithful to their vocation, reminding them that their choice to embrace religious life is a noble one and that their call comes from God. He urged them to trust in the Lord always and to persevere faithfully in their commitment.

A significant moment of the celebration was the reception of the religious habit and the Constitutions of the Congregation, visible signs of the vows they had professed and their commitment to live according to the charism and mission of the Sisters of St. Ann.

The Sisters of St. Ann Cameroon Delegation give thanks to God for the gift of these Newly Professed Sisters and pray that He may continue to strengthen and guide them as they faithfully serve Him and His people.
